Re:
Eagle Scout project at Black Rock Dog Park
Earlier this year, I was approached by Justin Rose-Sommers, a student at Croton-Harmon High School,
regarding a possible Eagle Scout project for Black Rock Dog Park. The project involved building an agility
course inside the dog park for the dogs to use. Mr. Rose-Sommers will be raising all the necessary funds himself
for this project and it will come at no cost to Village taxpayers.
After reviewing the project scope and description with our insurance company and DPW, I have approved the
project for the park. I believe this will be an improvement to the dog park and make it an even better facility for
the four-legged residents of the Village.
I have included some photos with this memo so you can see exactly where the agility course will be in the park.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
