On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the 
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of 
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:   
 
Resolution #46-2022 
 
WHEREAS, on October 2, 1990, the Village Planning Board gave final approval 
to the River Landing subdivision; and  
 
WHEREAS, on March 18, 1991, the Village Board of Trustees adopted a 
resolution approving street names for the subdivision plot; and 
 
WHEREAS, one street named as part of this subdivision, O’Reilly Court, was 
misspelled in the resolution and on the official map of the Village of Croton-on-
Hudson; and 
 
WHEREAS, the street was named for Clifford O’Riley, a resident of the Village 
who was killed in action during World War II, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees 
hereby amends the Official Map of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson to reflect the 
correct spelling of O’Riley Court; and 
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby extends its 
apologies to the O’Riley family for any confusion this inadvertent error may have 
caused.
