On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:
Resolution #64-2022
WHEREAS, the Village would like to amend Chapter 204, Taxation, of the Village
Code to institute the volunteer firefighter and EMS tax exemption; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees is considering the adoption of Local
Law Introductory No. 9 of 2022, which has been drafted for such purposes,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees
hereby calls for a Public Hearing on June 21, 2022, at 7 PM to consider Local Law
Introductory No. 9 of 2022 to amend Chapter 204, Taxation, of the Village Code to
institute the volunteer firefighter and EMS tax exemption; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that such Public Hearing shall be held in the
Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal
Building, 1 Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York 10520.
