On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:
Resolution #96-2022
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees is desirous of allowing merchants to set
up booths and tables in certain areas of the Village at certain times; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees adopted Local Law 8 of 2020,
which amended Chapter 172 of the Village Code, Commercial Soliciting, to
permit such activity; and
WHEREAS, the Street Vendor License Policy was amended on June 22, 2020 and
February 28, 2022 to allow for more licenses per location and an earlier start time
for each vendor; and
WHEREAS, the amended Street Vendor License Policy contains a sunset date of
June 5, 2022, pending a review of its operation; and
WHEREAS, this review was conducted at a work session held on May 23, 2022,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby
readopts the Street Vendor License Policy as previously amended.
