On motion of TRUSTEE _____, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-
Hudson, New York:
Resolution #107-2022
WHEREAS, the need exists to secure a license plate reader system for use by the
Village Police Department; and
WHEREAS, on June 21, 2022, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson adopted Resolution
No. 97-2022, authorizing the purchase of a license plate reader system, including
equipment and related services and software, for the Village Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the Village desires to contract with Rekor Systems, Inc., Columbia, MD
to install Software Licenses for the license plate reader system; and
WHEREAS a contract has been drafted for a perpetual software license at a cost of
$9,716,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is authorized to
execute the contract with Rekor Systems, Inc., Columbia, MD for annual
maintenance and perpetual software licensing at a cost of $9,716; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that funding is available for this contract in the
following account: A3120.2000 (Police – Equipment).
