To: From: Date: September 30, 2022 Re: LL Intro 11 of 2022 At the last board meeting, a question arose from the public regarding the change in assessed valuation for the properties that have been located within the Harmon-South Riverside Gateway Overlay District. The gateway district consists of 43 parcels. On the 2012 Assessment Roll, these parcels had a combined assessed valuation of 652,030. 10 years later, on the 2022 Assessment Roll, these parcels had a combined assessed valuation of 751,100. Over the past decade, the valuation of these parcels has increased by almost 100,000, or 15.2%. Much of this realized increase can be attributed to the new mixed-use building at 379 South Riverside Avenue. In 2012, this parcel was assessed at 21,000; in 2022, the parcel was assessed at 100,000.
