Dear Ms. Janet Meyer,
I am delighted to inform you that you have been selected for induction into the Westchester County’s 40th
Annual Senior Citizen Hall of Fame on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.
The Senior Hall of Fame is recognized as the Department of Senior Programs and Services’ signature event
where we come together to acknowledge and celebrate Westchester County’s most inspiring residents. You are
one of those special individuals that consistently demonstrates a true spirit of service to your community.
The Village of Croton-on-Hudson, nominated you for this honor because of your outstanding achievements. A
panel of judges has chosen you to be one of 52 deserving seniors in the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022. The event
will be held virtually on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., streaming on Westchester Public Private
Partnership for Aging Services’ website (www.westchesterpartnership.org.) Details will be shared as we move
closer to the date.
We encourage you to invite friends and family to view the celebration. Guests may purchase a sponsorship and/or
a congratulatory ad in the commemorative journal, which will be displayed electronically during the virtual event.
A printed copy will be mailed to you after the program.
Our virtual Senior Hall of Fame will begin with a congratulatory message from Westchester County Executive
George Latimer, along with a planned program that will include a portrait photo slide show. We have arranged
for a special photo session with a professional photographer to take individual portraits on Tuesday, October
11, 2022, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
The photo session will take place at the Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford, NY 10523.
Please see the directions attached and be sure to RSVP for the photo session with Amanda Seebeck by
Thursday, October 6th.
