On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution
was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York,
with a - vote.
Resolution #156-2022
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson lost its previous Village Assessor,
Thomas Waitkins, suddenly in August 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Village had entered into an intermunicipal agreement with the Town
of Cortlandt to share assessors in 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Village has decided to hire its own part-time assessor while it
continues to study the future of the Village’s assessment unit status; and
WHEREAS, the Village Treasurer has requested to make the following budgetary
transfer for recordkeeping purposes,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Treasurer is authorized to
transfer $23,176 in the General Fund 2022-2023 budget as follows:
A1355.1100 – Assessment – Personnel Services (P/T)
