On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-
Hudson, New York:
Resolution #185-2026
WHEREAS, the installation of a rapid rectangular flashing beacon (RRFB) on Maple
Street at Van Cortlandt Place/Wells Avenue was included in the 2025-2026 Capital
Budget; and
WHEREAS, as Maple Street is a state roadway, it is necessary to obtain approval from
the New York State Dept. of Transportation (NYSDOT) for this installation; and
WHEREAS, a maintenance agreement for the RRFB system is required as part of the
approval process,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees affirm the
Village Manager’s execution of the maintenance agreement from the New York State
Department of Transportation for the RRFB system on Maple Street at Van Cortlandt
Place/Wells Avenue.
