following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-
on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote:
Resolution #192-2026
WHEREAS, the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department hosts an annual Fire Fair during
Fire Prevention Month to educate residents about preventing fires in the home; and
WHEREAS, part of this event involves an appearance by the National Fire Protection
Association mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog; and
WHEREAS, the current costume used during the event is more than 10 years old and
needs to be replaced; and
WHEREAS, the cost of this replacement was not anticipated in the 2026-2027
General Fund budget,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby authorizes
the Village Treasurer to make the following budget transfer in the 2026-2027 General
Fund budget:
