On motion of TRUSTEE ___________, seconded by TRUSTEE _____________, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: Resolution #203-2026 WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees desires to update the language in the Village Code to provide clarification in the review of land use applications for consistency with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan; and WHEREAS, under the direction of the Village Board, the Village Manager has worked with the Village Attorney and the Village Planner to develop language that will provide for the Waterfront Advisory Committee to comment on land use applications that come before the Village Board of Trustees, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and/or Water Control Commission; and WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2026 has been drafted for such purposes; and WHEREAS, the Village has completed Part 1 of a Short Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) and a Coastal Assessment Form (CAF); and WHEREAS, the Waterfront Advisory Committee has provided a recommendation of consistency with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby calls for a Public Hearing on September 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to consider Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2026 to amend Chapter 223, Waterfront Revitalization, of the Village Code to provide clarification in the review of land use applications for consistency with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan.
