Regular Meeting Subject 7.01 Hearing of the Public Type Procedural Hearing of the Public We believe that effective dialogue can occur only in an atmosphere of mutual respect; therefore, it is the policy of the Croton-Harmon Board of Education to conduct its business at meetings and in all communications, written and oral, in a manner that models respect and civility. We invite and expect members of the public to share this commitment with us. (Excerpt from Policy 2010 - Civility) The Board welcomes public participation at its monthly business meetings, and has chosen to provide two opportunities for community members to share comments related to school district matters. This is a time for the Board to listen to the community. The Board will not address public comments or answer questions raised during the meeting, but an appropriate administrator and/or Board member will follow up with the commenters as applicable. We ask that you observe the following guidelines: Speakers should identify themselves and provide contact details on the sign-in sheet if they would like to be contacted at a later date.  Speakers will be recognized by the Board President and will limit their comments to three minutes. Comments referring to a specific student or CHUFSD staff member are prohibited. Members of the public should remain quiet, unless it is their time to speak.
