Public Hearing on Usage of Repair Reserve Subject 3.3 Resolution of Authorization of the Proposed Expenditure from the Repair Reserve Fund Type Action Recommended Action RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the resolution of authorization of the proposed expenditure from the Repair Reserve Fund. BOARD RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District previously established a repair reserve fund pursuant to New York General Municipal Law section 6-d; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District intends to expend money from such reserve fund for the purposes of repairing the compromised cast iron sections of Steam Boiler #2 at Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of the provisions of New York General Municipal Law section 6-d, the Board of Education conducted a public hearing on June 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the proposed appropriation of a sum not to exceed one hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($120,000.00) from the previously established repair reserve fund. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the expenditure of one hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($120,000.00) from the previously established repair reserve fund for the purpose of repairing the compromised cast iron sections of Steam Boiler #2 at Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School. Motion & Voting RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the resolution of authorization of the proposed expenditure from the Repair Reserve Fund.
