Consent Agenda Subject 5.9 Replenishment of Reserve Funds (2025-2026) Type Action (Consent) Recommended Action RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the resolution authorizing the replenishment of reserve funds as presented. REPLENISHMENT OF RESERVE FUNDS (2025-2026) WHEREAS, the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District seeks to replenish certain reserves from the School District’s unappropriated fund balance; and  WHEREAS, it is understood that the final amount of the deposits into the reserves will be determined upon the completion of the June 30, 2026 audited financial statements; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education authorizes replenishing the School District’s Employee Retirement Contribution Reserve Fund for the payment of retirement contributions to the NYS Retirement System for covered employees by transferring, as of June 30, 2026, an amount not to exceed $400,000 from the unappropriated fund balance to the Employee Retirement Contribution Reserve Fund; and  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education authorizes replenishing the School District’s Teachers Retirement Contribution Reserve Sub-Fund for the payment of retirement contributions to the NYS Teachers Retirement System (TRS) for covered employees by transferring, as of June 30, 2026, an amount not to exceed $500,000 from the unappropriated fund balance to the TRS Sub-Fund; and  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education authorizes replenishing the School District’s Employee Benefit Accrued Liability Reserve by transferring, as of June 30, 2026, an amount not to exceed $100,000 from the unappropriated fund balance to the Employee Benefit Accrued Liability Reserve; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District authorizes transferring, as of June 30, 2026, an amount not to exceed $1,661,800 from the 2025-2026 unappropriated fund balance to the School District’s 2013 Capital Reserve Fund. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District authorizes transferring, as of June 30, 2026, an amount not to exceed $50,000 from the 2025-2026 unappropriated fund balance to the Unemployment Insurance Reserve.
