I am also a member of the White Plains Board of Education and the Southern Westchester BOCES Board of Education, and I serve as an ex-officio member of the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association and the Rockland County School Boards Association. It is time to think about a new term (!) as Area 10 Director, and I would like to continue to serve you in this position. I will need 5 nomination letters from Area 10 school districts to be "on the ballot". I am writing to you, School Board President and Superintendent, as well as copying your Board member who is also on the Westchester Putnam School Boards Association Board and who is familiar with my role and representation, as I attend their Board meetings and provide regular reports. I would like to request that you consider submitting a letter of nomination on my behalf at your upcoming Board meeting. Although the due date for the nominations is July 31, 5 p.m., I am starting early as I know it can get very busy at the end of the school year!
