On motion of TRUSTEE ____, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-
Hudson, New York with the following vote: - vote.
Resolution #220-2024
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson seeks to amend the Code of the
Village of Croton-on-Hudson by adding a new Chapter 186 entitled "Rental
Housing" to implement the provisions of the Good Cause Eviction Law enacted by
the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 15 of 2024 was drafted for such purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees has previously discussed this legislation
at the October 16, 2024, work session,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby
schedules a Public Hearing on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the
Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building
to consider Local Law Introductory No. 15 of 2024 to amend the Code of the Village
of Croton-on-Hudson by adding a new Chapter 186 entitled "Rental Housing" to
implement the provisions of the Good Cause Eviction Law enacted by the State of
New York.
