On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with the following vote:
Resolution #253-2024
WHEREAS, the Westchester County Board of Legislators is presently considering
the adoption of the 2025 county budget; and
WHEREAS, a number of important projects have been included within the tentative
budget that warrant support; and
WHEREAS, these projects include the replacement of the Quaker Bridge (budgeted
at $20,000,000), the refurbishment of the pool at Croton Point Park (budgeted at
$15,000,000), and the management of invasive species at Croton Point Park
(budgeted at $100,000),
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village of Croton-on-Hudson
Board of Trustees lends its full support for these important projects and initiatives;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that a copy of this resolution shall be sent to
County Legislator Emiljana Ulaj and County Executive George Latimer.
