Consent Agenda Subject 10.1 Consent Agenda Type Action (Consent) Recommended Action RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves all the items on the consent agenda. The Board may conduct some of its business using a consent agenda in an effort to achieve greater efficiency at Board meetings. A consent agenda condenses some routine business of the Board of Education into a single motion. The consent agenda is prepared by the Superintendent of Schools in consultation with the President and/or the Vice President of the Board. Items are selected for the consent agenda when the officers of the Board and the Superintendent believe there is no controversy regarding them. The items on the consent agenda will have the same background material as ordinary items on the Board agenda. If any member of the Board feels that, any item on the consent agenda requires discussion prior to action that Board member may remove that item from the consent agenda merely by requesting same at the meeting. The exempt item then moves to the regular agenda. However, all non-exempt items would be moved, seconded, and voted upon without discussion in order to provide greater efficiency to conducting the routine items of business of the School District. Motion & Voting RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves all the items on the consent agenda. Motion by Anamika Bhatnagar, second by Allison Samuels. Final Resolution: Motion Carried Yes: Anamika Bhatnagar, Sarah Carrier, Neal Haber, Omar Mayyasi, Theo Oshiro, Allison Samuels, Ana Teague §
