New Business Subject 3.7 Award Gas Supply Services Contract Type Action Recommended Action RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby awards the gas supply services contract to NRG Business Marketing, LLC for November 2026 through April 2027 WHEREAS, on behalf of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District, M&R Energy Resources Corporation has duly advertised for bids for the gas supply service contract; and WHEREAS, bids were duly received and opened and NRG Business Marketing LLC is the lowest responsible bidder for the gas supply services for winter term beginning on November 1, 2026 and ending on April 30, 2027; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby awards the gas supply services contract to NRG Business Marketing, LLC for November 2026 through April 2027 at a cost of $.5420 per therm, or if market presents itself, lock in at a lower cost, and authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to sign the contract. Due to market conditions, the vendor and price will not be determinable until the day that the Board is to award this contract.
