RESOLUTION OF CROTON-HARMON UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT, NEW YORK, ADOPTED MARCH 26, 2026, DIRECTING SUBMISSION OF A PROPOSITION AT THE ANNUAL DISTRICT MEETING AND ELECTION OF THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID SCHOOL DISTRICT, TO BE HELD MAY 19, 2026, AND PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SUCH PROPOSITION TO BE INSERTED IN THE NOTICE OF SUCH ANNUAL DISTRICT MEETING AND ELECTION. RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF CROTON-HARMON UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER, NEW YORK AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.  At the Annual District Meeting and Election of the qualified voters of Croton-Harmon Union Free School District, in the County of Westchester, New York (the “District”), to be held on May 19, 2026, a Proposition in substantially the form as hereinafter set forth shall be submitted to the qualified voters of said District.  Such Proposition shall appear in the Notice of Annual District Meeting and Election to be held May 19, 2026, and the District Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to include such Proposition in said Notice by inserting therein substantially the following paragraphs: NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that Proposition in substantially the following form shall be presented to the qualified voters of the District at such Annual District Meeting and Election: REPAIR RESERVE FUND PROPOSITION YES                                                                                                    NO RESOLVED: That the Board of Education of Croton-Harmon Union Free School District is hereby authorized to deposit in the District’s existing Repair Reserve Fund an amount not to exceed $300,000 from the 2025-2026 unassigned fund balance, which deposited sum can be used in compliance with certain procedures for repairs of capital improvements or equipment that are not the type of repairs to recur annually or at shorter intervals. Section 2.  Such Proposition shall appear on the ballots to be used for voting at said Annual District Meeting and Election in substantially the foregoing form. Section 3.  This resolution shall take effect immediately. Motion & Voting RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the repair reserve proposition resolution as presented.
