Type Action Recommended Action RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the resolution approving selection of Childrenspace North and A Rising Star Children's Center, Inc. to administer the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program. RESOLUTION APPROVING SELECTION OF CHILDRENSPACE NORTH & A RISING STAR CHILDREN’S CENTER, INC. TO ADMINISTER UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District issued Request For Proposal (RFP) # 2025-26 R02 on January 12, 2026 seeking proposals from community based organizations to administer a Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (“UPK”) for eligible school district residents; WHEREAS, Childrenspace North and A Rising Star Children’s Center, Inc., submitted the only responsive proposals pursuant to the requirements set forth in the RFP and addendum thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Education of the Croton- Harmon Union Free School District hereby approves the selection of Childrenspace North and A Rising Star Children’s Center, Inc., to administer the District’s UPK program, subject to final determination of the New York State approved rate for the school district and negotiation of contracts acceptable to the parties.
