Public Hearing on Usage of Repair Reserve Subject 3.1 Open the Public Hearing on Proposed Usage of Repair Reserve Type Action, Discussion Recommended Action RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby opens the Public Hearing regarding the proposed usage of the district's Repair Reserve. The amount proposed to be expended from the Repair Reserve Fund shall not exceed $250,000. Such funds are proposed to be used for the following purpose(s): Croton-Harmon High School Elevator – Electronics Package Upgrade (~$185,000) The high school elevator is outdated, with obsolete electronics and aging mechanical systems. This has made replacement parts increasingly difficult to obtain, resulting in prolonged downtime that could impact ADA compliance and the safe transport of equipment and materials. PVC Middle School Steam Boiler Plant – Condensate Return Tank Repair (~$65,000) The condensate return tank at the PVC Middle School steam boiler plant is deteriorating due to age and corrosion. As a key component for returning condensed steam to the boiler, its failure could affect both the efficiency and safety of the heating system.
