That the Board of Education approves the resolution of authorization of the proposed expenditure from the Repair Reserve Fund.
BOARD RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District previously established a repair reserve fund pursuant to New York General Municipal Law section 6-d; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District intends to expend money from such reserve fund for the purposes of upgrading the electronics package of the elevator at Croton-Harmon High School and repairing the condensate return tank at the Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School boiler plant; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of the provisions of New York General Municipal Law section 6-d, the Board of Education conducted a public hearing on January 22, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the proposed appropriation of a sum not to exceed $250,000 dollars from the previously established repair reserve fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the expenditure of $250,000 from the previously established repair reserve fund for the purposes of restoring the functionality of the electronics package of the elevator at Croton-Harmon High School and repairing the condensate return tank at the Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School boiler plant.
