From: Robert DeAngelis To: Manager"s Office Subject: Public Comment for Board Meeting - Enbridge"s Project Maples - OPPOSE Date: Monday, June 23, 2025 4:51:26 PM ***CAUTION: External sender.*** I am a local resident and president of Yorktown100, which is a 100% volunteer organization working to help mitigate the harmful effects of fossil fuels on our climate and environment.  We oppose Enbridge's Project Maples, which is a move completely in the wrong direction.  We need to recognize we are on the verge of a climate crisis. We need to support the supply of non-polluting renewable energy, not expanding the use of any fossil fuel.  And methane, as we know, is a particularly potent greenhouse gas (80x worse than carbon dioxide in the near term), well known to leak into the atmosphere.
