My name is Lorenzo Auslander, and I am reaching out on behalf of Hudson Valley FC regarding the possibility of renting one of the district’s soccer fields for home matches in the Eastern District Soccer League (EDSL). The EDSL, founded in 1928, is one of the oldest amateur soccer leagues in the United States and provides organized, competitive 11v11 soccer throughout the fall and spring seasons. Matches are 90 minutes long and played with three certified referees. The league is fully insured, so liability coverage is already in place. Our team has deep ties to the Croton community. Abdul, the Head Coach of the Croton-Harmon High School varsity boys soccer team, and John Cabrera, the varsity assistant coach, both play on our team. We also have many CHHS alumni on the roster, and Abdul hopes to involve current varsity players, giving them the opportunity to compete alongside and against high-level adult players in a structured environment outside of the high school season. We believe this could be a valuable developmental opportunity while also strengthening the local soccer community. One of the biggest challenges for our club is securing an affordable home field. As an amateur team, field rental costs have a significant impact on whether participation remains financially accessible for our players. Because many of us are Croton residents and have longstanding connections to the school district, we were hoping to learn more about the district’s policies, availability, and rental fees for hosting approximately one 90-minute home match every other week during the fall and spring seasons. At this stage, we are mainly hoping to connect to discuss scheduling logistics and field availability. We would like to understand what would be required to secure field access roughly 10–12 weeks per year, and whether there is any flexibility on pricing given our local ties and community involvement. We appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you,  Lorenzo Auslander Hudson Valley FC 347-701-9609 CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This electronic mail transmission is intended for the personal and confidential use of the designated recipient(s) named above.
