Lieut. Abraham Odell was often called Armand, because he resembled the French Legionary Commander. Col. Armand was above the middle size, of dark complexion, with black hair, and wore large

mustaches and whiskers, but was not quite so large as Abraham Odd.

Wasin the lumber and coal business at Point Dock, and Captain, of a steamboat for many years. Mr. JolinJ. Odell, ofTarrytown, is his son. *
