1679. in 1679, who died shortly after, unmarried, and Gaston Jean Baptiste de Lancy, who succeeded his brother as fourth Marquis and died unmarried not long after. Both these brothers died

1680. in 1680 ; and with them ended the males of this branch of the family. Their sisters were five, Henriette, wife of the Marquis de Crevecoeur ; Catharine, wife of the Seigneur de la Billarderie;^ Francoise, died unmarried; Annette, died unmarried, and Marie Luce, wife of the Comte de Nonant, who died 16th March, 1743, aged eighty.
