Masons Bayard has a number of thriving fraternal associations which have done their full share towards the up-building of the community. The local Masonic lodge, Bayard Lodge 301, was chartered June 19, 1918, with the following charter members : Harvey Bald, Roland Bassett, Fred Beltner, Harry Berggsen, John Billeter. Franklin, Wm. Evens, Chas. Franklin, Jas. O'Hollaren. Wm. Peters. Rebeccas organized Bee Hive Lodge 17S in February, 1917, with a membership of 150.
