Wednesday, 27"- April, 1622. Folio 150. Ambassador Carleton recommended that a resolution be passed on the Great Britain, communication he had made on the part of his Majesty, regarding the Island of Virginia. Virginia; and it is resolved, that the said communication shall be examined, together with what has been published in print at Amsterdam on this subject.

roiio23o. Read the petition of Claes Jacobsen Harinckcarspel, Schepen and Councillor of the city of Amsterdam, heir of the deceased Petrus Plancius minister of God's word, cum New Netheriand. suis, praying, for rcasons set forth in the petition, that the time allowed to them,

the petitioners, to bring over their returns from New Netherland to this country, may be extended six months, but the resolution thereupon is postponed.
