The Commissioners named on the 9"" instant, etc. Read a remonstrance from Director Petrus Stuyvesandt, containing divers considerations relative to the island of Curacao and New Netherland ; also, read the 13"" and 14"' points of reference, both regarding the aforesaid countries; question having been put, it is resolved to refer the received remonstrance to the Commissioners who shall examine it, and advise the Assembly on the points of reference, and thereunto are appointed Mess" Van Hecke, de Laet, Hamel, Haelewyn, Huigh and Iddekinghe.

Read a letter from Willem Kieft, Director of New Netherland, written the 2"^ of August, 1645, from fort New Amsterdam to the Amsterdam Chamber, and it is resolved to place it in the hands of the Committee on the 13"" and 14"' points of reference, to be made use of in their business.
