Adam Vrooman Appearing before this board, & Charged 1778 Apr. 20. with Going of to the Enemy, but no prof [j/c] Appearing that he had taken an active part against the States &c he being willing & offered to take the Oath of Alegiance, was thereupon permitted to Return upon Bail to his place of Abode -- Adam Vrooman £200 Wouter Vrooman his Bail £200 it has been frequently Sugested that the Great Liberty Granted to the prisoners in this Garrison is attended with Evil Consequences to the Un[i]ted States, & the Same being taken in Consideration & thereupon agreed that the following Letter be wrote to the Commanding officer -- prout) mett acording to Adjournment
