Oath (as prescribed in the Act respecting Persons of neutral and equivocal Characters) then tendered him, and agreed that his Non Appearance on that Day [ 1 7 ] should be 1

construed into a Refusal to take the said Oath and the said Martin Crom not having appeared on that Day according to Agreement Therefore ordered that his Refusal to take the said Oath be entered -- Adjourned till to Morrow Morning
