Minutes of the Commissioners for Detecting and Defeating Conspiracies in the State of New York
John Rysdorp, Leonard Rysdorp, John Pool & Jacobus Pool were this day brought before the Board to answer the Charge alledged against them by Captain Robert Woodward and having heard the Evidence adduced by Captain Woodward in support of the said Charge and having also heard the Testimony of the Persons who were produced by the said Mathewis Van Valkenburgh and the other Persons above mentioned to invalidate the said Charge and having considered the same resolved that they said Mathewis Van Valkenburgh, John Van Valkenburgh, John Rysdorp, Leonard Rysdorp, John Pool and Jacobus Pool be severally bound by a Recognizance with sufficient sureties to appear before any one of the Commis- [19] sioners for Conspiracies when called upon or any Judicial Authority when thereunto required and for their future good Behaviour untill discharged by this Board -- Mathewis Van Valkenbourgh of the Manor of Rensselaerwyck Blacksmith on Recognizance in £200 William Van Wie of the City of Albany Carpenter his Bail in £100 John Van Valkenburgh of the Manor of Rensselarwyck Cordwainer on Recognizance in £200 Peter P.
