A Party of Continental Troops having apprehended & 1779 Apr. 20. taken Prisoners James Kelly, Francis Fall, Adam Haines and Hendrick Stater who were on their way to Join the Enemy & they being delivered over to this Board by the Honorable Brigadier General Clinton and being examined and it appearing from the Examination of James Kelly that Anthony Kersikon has advised him the said James Kelly to go to the Enemy and the said Anthony Kersikon being now Confined in Goal by Virtue of a Civil Process resolved that the Goaler be directed to detain the said Anthony Kersikon in his Custody notwithstanding a discharge from the Process
