James Stewart is deserving of a Captains Commission in the service of this State, & yt* a war- -rant be given him to raise a company with all possible dispatch, that the sd company ought to consist of Scotch Highlanders¸ or as many of them as possible, & yt they serve during the war &c… "The sd.
