Mrs Palmer. Novr. 1st. Mrs. Palmer: My husband was one of twelve se- -lected from his regiment to form Wayne's forlorn hope at Stoney Point. The day before the assault, a spy was sent in to scan the weak points of the fort &c. in the disguise of a country man selling eggs and chickens.
