A homeowner in Harmon showcased Croton Point bricks integrated into their porch flooring, many bearing the stamp "WAU" (William A. Underhill's initials). These well-preserved bricks, worn by over a century of use, represent the industrial heritage of the region.
William A. Underhill operated a brickyard on Croton Point's northern end, extracting clay deposits for production. His brother, Richard T. Underhill, developed vineyards on the southern portion of the peninsula.
