Croton Dam Strike (1900) — Croton Dam Strike Flag

Strikers displaying their flag during the April 1900 labor strike at the New Croton Dam construction site. Italian immigrant workers struck over wages and working conditions. Governor Theodore Roosevelt sent the National Guard to Croton Landing to maintain order.
