Henry F. Williams, billed on the title page as 'Professor of Music,' composed and arranged this waltz for the piano-forte. It was published jointly by A. Fiot of Philadelphia and W. Dubois of New York, and deposited for copyright on December 26, 1844. J. Hazzard registered a separate Croton Waltz with the U.S. District Court the same year.
