From the Westchester County Historical Society catalog:
Levi Mead (c.1761-1849) discusses the location of an ambush set up near Round Hill in Greenwich, Connecticut, by Americans under the command of William Mosier. Loyalist Captain Ebenezer Theall was killed during the ambush.

1846. November 19 Levi Mead: “Theall was killed by Mosier’s party in a rocky defile half a mile east of my house after you pass the second brook. Mosier’s party fired – some of the Refugees forced their way through and escaped. Mosier’s men then fired again, and both parties retired.
