◆Village Engineer Vincent Salanitro reported that the current Zoning Code amendments clarify definitions to make the code easier to understand and administer.
◆Village Manager Bryan Healy added that the changes address inconsistencies throughout the code.
◆It was noted that under New York State law, any change to the Zoning Code requires an LWRP consistency opinion.
The Waterfront Advisory Committee voted 3-0 to recommend consistency with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program for Local Law Introductory 3 of 2026, a zoning code cleanup that addresses inconsistencies, updates definitions, and amends the number of fowl permitted on residential properties.
