Patrols responded to two separate hit and run accidents within a few minutes. The vehicle was described as a dark-colored Nissan sedan with a possible intoxicated operator. Patrols conducted an extended check of Village streets with negative results. Surrounding agencies were notified, and the vehicle was located by Yorktown PD on Route 129. The operator was arrested for DWI by that agency; patrols issued the operator a summons for leaving the scene of an accident.
