Patrol units responded to an area on Farrington Road after a Croton resident who called regarding their neighbor had dispersed recycling onto their driveway on two occasions today. Patrol mediated the situation.

Patrol responded to an area on Sunset Trl for a report of wires down in the roadway in an area CONED had just been performing work. Patrol placed cones in the area for precaution. The utility company who handles the lines was notified and not responding until a later date to correct the condition.

Patrols responded to an area on Route 9 South for a party that appears to be sleeping in front of her vehicle that is on the shoulder of the roadway. The area was checked with negative results.

Patrol responded to a commercial area on S Riverside Ave after a party reported they were locked out of their bank accounts and over $40,000 had been withdrawn by an unknown person(s). A report to be filed.

Patrol and Croton FD responded to a commercial area on Croton Point Ave for a manhole on fire. The scene was handled by Croton FD, no injuries.

Patrol responded to the area of Hixon Rd for a report of a resident's dog loose. The residents were interviewed and no violations observed by patrol.

Patrol responded to an area on Truesdale Dr for a report of parties on the Croton River shore near Silver Lake barbecuing. Patrols canvassed the area and located a group who was warned and left the area.

Patrols responded to an area on Scenic Drive W for a residential burglar alarm. Location was checked and no signs of entry on the ground level.

Patrol assisted an Elmsford resident with installing a child safety seat in their vehicle.

Patrol was notified from a Croton resident they had received a spoof phone call on their house landline. The phone call received showed on their caller ID as a friend of theirs name and cell number. They answered the call thinking it was their friend and another female stated I found this cell phone can you meet me at Dairy Queen. They then realized something was not right and hung up the phone. They emailed their friend who responded back and was fine and also informed the resident someone must have hacked her phone because other friends had gotten in touch with them for the same type of incident. The caller did not provide any information to the unknown party and has no financial loss.

Patrol responded to an area on Truesdale Dr for a report of a small group of people who had parked on Truesdale Drive and removed stuff from their car and went down to the Silver Lake beach area. Patrols responded and checked Silver Lake Park and found no persons at the location. There were three cars legally parked on Truesdale Drive. Patrols did not observe anyone on the opposite side of the Croton River.

Patrol and Croton FD responded to an area on Park Trl for a residential fire alarm. Croton FD handled the scene, the alarm was accidentally set off.

Patrol responded to an area on S Riverside Ave for a group on the sidewalk in a dispute. The group of juveniles were located and not having a dispute but horse playing.

Patrol responded to an area on Old Post Road S for a report of a traffic condition. The traffic was caused by a construction crew performing work on the street.

Patrol responded to an on Maple St for a report of a deceased deer in the roadway. Patrol moved the animal to the shoulder and NYS DOT was notified.

Patrol responded to a location on Grand St for a disabled vehicle blocking a lane in the roadway. Patrol located the vehicle and the operator had already notified a tow company. Patrol assisted with traffic while awaiting the arrival of the tow company.

Patrol and Croton FD responded to an area on Maple St for a smoke condition coming from the roof of a commercial building. The scene was handled by Croton FD, there was no fire.

Patrols and Croton FD responded to an area on Sunset Trl for a report of a tree that fell on electrical wires. Patrols located electrical wires down and sparking with a damaged telephone pole. CFD and CONED handled the scene. DPW notified for tree removal.

Patrol responded to an area on Old Post Road S for a motor vehicle accident and one vehicle had left the scene. After investigation patrol was unable to locate information on the other vehicle. A report was not filed as the original caller left the location as well.

Park Ranger and Patrol responded to an area on Truesdale Dr for a tree down on the Gorge Trail. DPW was notified for removal.

Parking Agent and Patrol responded to an area on Church St for a parking complaint. There was no offense observed for a summons to be issued. Parking Agent to follow up on the condition.

An individual turned in property to CPD found in the Village. The owner, a Yorktown resident, was contacted and retrieved the property.

Patrols responded to a commercial area on Veterans Pl for a dispute/altercation. Patrol interviewed one party who indicated it was only verbal and the other party involved had left the scene prior to patrol arrival.

NY State Police requested assistance with a party in their jurisdiction attempting to hurt themselves with a weapon. Patrols responded to a location on Baltic Pl and subdued the party who was transported to the hospital by Croton EMS.

Patrols and NY State Police responded to a commercial area on Albany Post Rd for a disorderly person who refused to leave the establishment. The party was located and left the location without incident.

Patrol responded to an area on Grand St for a noise complaint from a band playing. As Patrol arrived the owner advised they are finished for the night.

Patrols responded to a commercial area on Veterans Pl after a parent reported her child missing when they never made it to meet friends at the Croton River to kayak. While Patrol was enroute the caller found their child and requested an ambulance. Croton EMS responded and the party was not transported to the hospital.

Patrols responded to an area on Grand St after an out of state resident called requesting a welfare check on a family member. There was no contact made with the party at the residence however contact was made over the phone.
