Patrol responded to an area on Truesdale Dr after receiving a 911 hang up call. Patrol checked the location and the call was placed accidentally by a resident.

Patrol responded to an area on Robin Ln after a resident called reporting they heard a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot or fireworks. The area was checked with negative results.

Patrols and Croton FD responded to an area on Hamilton Ave for a residential CO alarm sounding. Croton FD handled the scene, the owner accidentally set off the alarm.

Croton EMS responded to a commercial area on Albany Post Rd for a person in need of medical assistance. The party was transported to the hospital.

Patrols responded to an area on Brook St for a report of a fight in progress. One party, who was not injured was interviewed and the other party had fled the scene. The area was canvassed with negative results. No report was taken.

Patrol responded to an area on S Riverside Ave for a report of a utility wire down in the roadway. Patrol located the low voltage wire which appeared to be inside a clearly marked construction zone.

Patrol received a report from a Croton resident who reported they discovered that an unknown person(s) had attempted to activate seven(7) credit cards from Capital1, Wells Fargo, Express and Nordstrom. Caller stated they have a Nordstrom credit card and called the company after they received an email confirming their email and address change. The representative advised someone had requested the change over the phone and provided their personal information. The resident has since frozen their credit and notified credit monitoring companies. They have had no financial loss at this time.

Patrol responded to a location on Brook St for an erratic vehicle(tailgating/honking horn repeatedly). The caller reported the incident started outside the Village of Croton. Patrol canvassed the area with negative results.

Patrol responded to an area on Cleveland Dr for a residential burglar alarm. The residence was checked with no signs of forced entry.

Patrol responded to an area on Maple St after receiving a 911 hang up call. Patrol checked the location and spoke with the resident who dialed accidentally.

Patrol came upon a disabled vehicle in an area on Route 9 North. Patrol stood by from traffic while the vehicles flat tire was changed.

Patrol responded to an area on Albany Post Rd for a report of a deceased deer. The reporting person was concerned due to the deer appearing to have extensive injuries. Due to the animal on private property the resident was advised to contact a company for the removal.

Patrols responded to an area on Cleveland Dr after a resident called to report an injured deer. Patrol located the deceased deer, moved it to the shoulder and made a notification to have it removed.

Patrol responded to Croton Landing on Elliott Way for a report of a raccoon that appears to have been in a tree for an extensive amount of time. The animal was seen in the tree but it was not able to be accessed. A local trapper was notified the following day.

Croton FD and Patrol responded to an area on Ackerman Ct for a residential fire alarm. Croton FD handled the scene, the alarm sounding was found to be a battery backup from an electric device inside the home.

The Croton PD will be at Veterans Plaza parking lot during the 37 TH Annual Croton Rotary Auto Show, will be having a child safety seat installation to anyone who needs, wants to check, or has questions about child safety seat installation.
