Patrol received a report from a Croton resident who reported they received a telephone call from someone claiming to be a United States Marshal who stated the caller's grandson had been involved in an auto accident in Albany, NY. The unknown caller stated that they needed the caller to send $8,000.00 for their grandson's court proceedings. The resident, realizing it may be a scam, contacted their grandson who informed him that he was not involved in an accident and was also not in Albany. The resident did not provide any type of funds and has had no financial loss. No report was filed.

The caller reported their dog was on a leash. The caller then called on the neighbor who screamed at them because they were walking their dog off the leash. A witness reported the vehicle was a white Honda SUV and the occupants were teenagers who got out of the vehicle. The witness told them he called the police, they then got back inside the vehicle and left the scene. A canvass of the area was done with negative results. Assistance from other Westchester agencies also turned out negative with locating the vehicle. There was no damage to the guardrail and no report was filed.

Croton EMS was notified. Patrol was able to get in touch with a relative who advised the party female had been reported missing yesterday to the Peekskill PD. Peekskill PD was notified and confirmed the missing report. The party was not transported to the hospital and was picked up by a relative.
