Patrol performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for a VTL violation on Route 9 South and took a 53-year-old Peekskill, NY resident, into custody for VTL Suspended Registration. He was released on his own recognizance.

While in Village Court Patrol took a 25-year-old Goshen, NY resident, into custody for Bail Jumping 3RD Degree. He was released on his own recognizance.

Patrols responded to an area on Grand St after a parent who lives out of state requested a welfare check on their child after they made concerning statements yesterday to another relative. The party was interviewed and uncooperative. The parent was notified.

Patrol received a report from a Croton resident who reported they received a telephone call from someone claiming to be a United States Marshal who stated the caller's grandson had been involved in an auto accident in Albany, NY. The unknown caller stated that they needed the caller to send $8,000.00 for their grandson's court proceedings. The resident, realizing it may be a scam, contacted their grandson who informed him that he was not involved in an accident and was also not in Albany. The resident did not provide any type of funds and has had no financial loss. No report was filed.

Patrol responded to an area on Farrington Road after a Croton resident who called regarding their neighbor had screamed at them while walking their dog to put their dog on a leash. The caller reported their dog was on a leash. The caller then called on the neighbor who screamed at them because they were walking their dog off the leash. There were no violations observed by Patrol. The situation was mediated.

Patrol responded to an area on Municipal Place(Croton Auto Park) after receiving a 911 hang up call. Patrol checked the location and spoke with a staff member who confirmed they dialed accidentally.

Patrols responded to the area on S Riverside Ave(ShopRite) for an attempted larceny of a television estimated value at 300.00, from inside the store. After the investigation, the party had the television but had never left the store with it. A canvass of the area was done with negative results. There was no report filed.

One of the operators, a 17 year old Croton resident, was taken into custody for VTL Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3RD degree. They were released on their own recognizance.

Patrol came upon an erratic vehicle in an area on Cleveland Dr that had backed out of a driveway and went onto the sidewalk. The operator was not injured and advised there was a mechanical issue with the vehicle. A family member was notified and responded. There was a report completed.

Patrol responded to an area on Albany Post Rd for a report of a party who appeared to be having trouble walking. Patrol located the male who was walking to a relative’s residence and refused assistance.

Patrols responded to an area on S Riverside Ave for a report of a larceny of items from the store. After speaking with the staff it was determined there not to be any crime committed.

Patrols took a 34-year-old Highland Falls resident into custody from the Village of Ossining Police Department on an active Arrest Warrant from the Village of Croton Court on Penal Law Petit Larceny charge. He was released on his own recognizance.

Patrol responded to an area on Arrowcrest Dr after a resident reported they were waiting with their child for the school bus when a vehicle sped past them up the hill towards the golf course erratically and passed a school bus with its lights activated. Patrol responded and located the vehicle parked unoccupied. Patrol canvassed the area and located the operator. The operator was warned and admonished as no violations were observed.

Patrol responded to an area on Grand St after an out of state resident called for a welfare check on a family member who has been acting irrationally. After speaking with the party Croton EMS was notified and the party was transported to the hospital.

Patrol responded to an area on Prospect Pl after receiving a 911 hang up call. Patrol checked the location and spoke with the resident who confirmed they dialed accidentally.

Patrol responded to an area on Ridge Rd after a resident called reporting they went to bed around midnight and woke up to an unknown female lying down in their living room and was no threat at this time. The resident indicated the party appeared disoriented but was not sure. Patrols responded and after speaking to the party female who appeared disoriented and confused they requested an ambulance. Croton EMS was notified. Patrol was able to get in touch with a relative who advised the party female had been reported missing yesterday to the Peekskill PD. Peekskill PD was notified and confirmed the missing report. The party was not transported to the hospital and was picked up by a relative.

Patrol responded to an area on Warren Rd to assist a Croton resident who had fallen to the floor and cannot get up. The resident who had fallen on the floor was assisted and refused medical attention.

Patrol responded to an area on Old Post Road S(Merwin Oaks Lot) for a report for a vehicle legally parked, however blocking the path for people who were going to the food pantry. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and will respond to move the vehicle.

Patrol attempted to contact the unknown party with negative results. The caller was advised to cease taking orders from the number that was provided. No report was filed.

Patrol performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for a VTL violation on Route 9 South and took a 23-year-old Bronx, NY resident, into custody for VTL Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3RD Degree and VTL Suspended Registration. He was released on his own recognizance.
