Two parties were interviewed and one party fled the scene on foot prior to patrol's arrival. The two parties were released and no arrests made. Patrol responded to an area on High St for a motor vehicle accident and one vehicle had left the scene. The vehicle owner had arrived home and noticed damage to the vehicle. They had been parked at ShopRite Plaza before arriving home and believed the vehicle was struck there. A report to be filed.

Patrol performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for a VTL violation on S Riverside Ave and took a 25 year old Goshen, NY resident, into custody for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3RD and Suspended Registration. He was released on his own recognizance.

Patrol responded to an area on Sunset Dr for a report of a noise complaint of contractors using power equipment before the proper hours. Patrol advised and warned the contractor regarding the Village law.

Patrols took a 29 year old Poughkeepsie resident into custody from the NY State Police on an active Arrest Warrant from the Village of Croton Court on Vehicle & Traffic Law charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3rd degree. He was released on his own recognizance.

Patrol was notified by a Croton resident on Penfield Ave who reported they received a credit card in the mail which was opened in their name that she did not request. The card was from Bank of America. Caller notified the bank of the incident and canceled the account. Caller is not missing any money at this point. The resident indicated the address involved happened to be a prior address for them. They presently had no financial loss. A report to be filed.

Patrol responded to an area on S Riverside Ave(ShopRite) after staff called reporting a party who had been in the store before was acting strange and disturbing other shoppers. The party was interviewed and was notified the store does not want them there any longer. The party complied and left the store.

Patrol responded to an area on Sunset Trl after a resident called reporting someone had just attempted to enter their home. The resident heard a noise in their garage and when they checked there was nothing out of the ordinary. A short time later they heard an exterior door knob being turned. Again they did not observe anybody. Patrols checked the area as well as the house with the homeowner with negative results. There did not appear to be any signs of attempted or forced entry.

Patrol responded to an area on Route 129 for a report for a vehicle in the roadway that appeared to have struck a deer. The location was checked with negative findings of either a car or a deer.

The obtained information the party might be at the park. The location was checked with negative results.

The party was not at the scene and a Rockland County agency was notified to follow up with the party who was alleged to be in Rockland County. The investigation is ongoing.

Patrol was notified by a Croton resident on Wolf Rd who reported that their mail carrier questioned him about moving. When the resident asked the mail carrier to explain what they meant, it was discovered that on 11/10/2021 someone had put a mail forwarding request under their name and address to US postal service. A few days earlier the resident had received a text message from Bank of America stating their credit card was approved and his welcome package should arrive in fourteen days. After receiving a second text they called Bank of America and cancelled the card. They presently had no financial loss.

Patrol responded to an area on Old Post Road S for a tree that fell and is now suspended over in the air and if it falls completely will land in the roadway. Patrol placed caution tape in the area and notified code enforcement.
