A concerned caller reported receiving a distressing text message from an individual indicating an intent to harm themselves by throwing themselves in front of a train at the Croton-Harmon Train Station. In response, patrols promptly mobilized to the area and conducted a thorough search, but were unable to locate the individual. The party who had sent the distressing message was located at a different location by patrols. Patrols requested emergency medical services (EMS) for an evaluation. EMS responded and the individual was subsequently transported to Westchester Medical Center via ambulance for further assessment and assistance.

WCPD requested assistance with individuals who were refusing to vacate the main parking lot. Although a WCPD vehicle was en route, they requested CPD assistance for the gate guard. Upon patrol dispatch, it was observed that vehicles were leaving as officers arrived on the scene. Subsequently, four unoccupied cars were located, with their owners not present. WCPD was notified of the situation's resolution and advised that their response could be canceled.

EMS requested for elderly female feeling dizzy; transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Male harassing customers at the gas station, attempting to solicit a ride to train station. Patrols were dispatched to the location, and upon arrival, it was observed that the male had an altered mental status. EMS was requested for the male, and they were dispatched to the scene. Subsequently, the male was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further evaluation and treatment.

Caller reports patron inside of laundromat believes their phone was stolen while inside the laundromat. Patrol dispatched along with the detective division. Patrol reports the phone may have been taken out of the complainant’s vehicle which was parked in front of the laundromat. Patrol canvassed the area for surveillance cameras and will file a report.

Caller reports an intoxicated male with dark hair wearing a gray shirt and tan pants wandering around the parking lot in front of CVS. Patrols responded and saw a male matching that description walking out of Apple farm with a female and get into a vehicle and leave the lot. While on scene, a civilian walked into headquarters and reported seeing two men get into an altercation at that location. Patrols advised of same.

Caller reports a gray Toyota blocked the driveway at location. Parking enforcement and patrol dispatched. Patrol reports condition corrected.

911 caller states they observed a man lurking on their property via their Ring doorbell camera. Caller states the individual, described only as wearing a black hoodie, is now sitting at a picnic table furthest from the parking lot in Vassallo Park. Patrols dispatched. Patrols report they located the individual and that he is non-English speaking. Patrols report following up with the caller at their home. Patrols report the homeowners did not wish to pursue anything further and the individual was advised to leave the park.

Caller reported there was an unknown male knocking at her back door and she did not want to answer the door. Patrols dispatched and report it was the next door neighbor who was knocking on her door.

Caller requesting EMS for possible pneumonia. Call transferred to 60 control. EMS and patrol dispatched. Aided transported to Phelps Memorial hospital via ambulance.

Caller reports her wallet went missing from her purse while inside of Shoprite. Patrol dispatched and reports caller unsure if she had her wallet with her today. Caller went home to check for her wallet and advised that Ossining PD had left her a message that someone found her wallet and will be returning it to her. Caller later advised that her wallet was returned by a Good Samaritan with cash missing from it. Caller believes someone took her wallet from her purse while in Shoprite and took the cash from it. An investigation revealed that the wallet was not taken from the caller’s purse while in Shoprite. Caller advised of same.

911 caller stated her husband was on the floor and semi-conscious. Caller was transferred to 60 Control who dispatched EMS. Patrol was dispatched. Patrol reported that the aided was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital via ambulance.

Sales manager reported that a vehicle was stolen from their lot on the evening of 04/02/2024. Patrol was dispatched and gathered information and surveillance for report. Detective Division was notified. Investigation was pending.

EMS and fire department were dispatched to track 3 at location for a male that had a seizure and fell on the tracks. MTA police were contacted and advised they had units on scene and the power to the tracks was turned off. Patrols were advised. Patrols reported that the aided was off the tracks and being transported to Westchester Medical Center via ambulance.

EMS was dispatched to location for elderly female with elevated heart rate. Patrols were dispatched and reported that the aided was being transported to Phelps Hospital via ambulance.

Caller dialed 911 twice in error. Patrols were dispatched to location and confirmed calls were accidental.

NYS Police reported they had a unit out at location investigating a possible menacing with a firearm complaint that occurred in Cortlandt Manor from earlier in the day. NYS Police reported they had another unit en route and would like Croton units to respond as well. Patrols were dispatched. Patrols reported State Police interviewed party who denied menacing anyone with a firearm nor owning one. State Police also reported that the complainant was not willing to pursue charges and was now uncooperative.

Caller reported their car was parked and struck by another vehicle. Patrol was dispatched and filed a report.

WCPD requested assistance with a dispute in Croton Point RV park between two people; one had a hatchet. Patrol was dispatched, report WCPD on scene and it was a dispute between family members. Westchester County Police handled the report.

Party stopped patrol and advised them of being involved in a road rage incident in Ossining. The other operator thought the other vehicle hit his bumper when changing lanes and followed the vehicle to Croton. No damage was reported to either vehicle. No action was required at this time.

Civilian was in headquarters to report that an occupant of the listed vehicle threw an unknown object at the passenger side of her vehicle earlier on Rt 9A in Ossining. She was referred to the Village of Ossining police department to file a report. Patrol was advised to be on the lookout for the vehicle involved.

Westchester County Police called requesting response to Croton Point Park for a report of a large fight in progress. WCP reported approximately 15 people involved in the fight with some possessing knives, clubs, machetes, and shovels. Fight was allegedly occurring at the campgrounds near site 42. Multiple callers. WCP had 4 units in route. NYSP was also in route. Patrols were dispatched. Patrols arrived on scene and individuals had dispersed. Patrols attempted to interview callers. WCP and NYSP arrived on scene. Patrols, NYSP, and WCP attempted to interview witnesses and callers but received no cooperation. Patrols stood by while WCP towed 3 vehicles. No witnesses or callers came forward. All on scene were uncooperative. WCP handled.

Caller at location reports that someone just rang his doorbell. Caller spoke through the door to a female, possibly elderly, who reported that she was looking for someone named Sam and thought that he lived there. Female then left. No description or direction of travel given. Patrols were dispatched. Patrols canvassed the area with negative results.

Caller requested a welfare check of a local resident who suffers from dementia. Patrols responded to residence but reported no one appeared home. Patrols responded back to residence at 14:55 hours and reported speaking with party and she appeared to be okay. Message left with caller and she was given contact information for Croton Caring Committee to request services.

Patrol reported stopping listed vehicle for VTL violations. An investigation revealed that the vehicle's registration was suspended. The operator was issued tickets on scene and was released on his own recognizance with a return date to the Village Court. Patrol filed a report.

911 caller stated she was involved in an accident on Route 9 South in the area of Senasqua Rd. Caller stated she had neck pain. Patrol was dispatched. EMS was dispatched. Caller refused medical attention for her neck pain. Information was obtained for report.

911 caller requested EMS for her 87-year-old mother in-law who was unable to walk. Caller was transferred to 60 control. Patrol was dispatched along with EMS. Aided was transported to Phelps Hospital via ambulance.

County PD requested assistance at Croton Point Park with a possible fight. County stated a cab driver was dropping two people off at the entrance to the trailer park and they were now refusing to pay the driver, which resulted in an altercation. Patrol was dispatched and reported no physical altercation at this time. Patrol spoke to the cab driver who stated he dropped off a pair who refused to pay and went into their trailer. Patrol stood by for County PD. Units cleared, County Police to file report.

Caller reported several youths down at listed location swimming. The caller was concerned due to the flow of water. Patrol was dispatched and reported the area was clear and no one was swimming. Patrol also checked other areas to enter the water with negative results.
