Graffiti

Caller relayed a third-party report that there is graffiti drawn on the walls of the port-a-potty in the area. Patrol was dispatched and reported the graffiti cut into the plastic walls of the port-a-potty. Report was filed. For more information, please click here.
Suspicious Incident
2/16/2026 5:05pm · Police Headquarters
Caller stated she posted a picture of graffiti on the dam on a public Facebook post. Caller further stated that someone commented "don't worry, will get your house next,” on the post. Information has been added to the report.
Public Assistance
2/17/2026 5:33pm · Benedict Blvd.
Caller reported there was a camera on top of a stop sign at the intersection of Benedict Blvd. and Penfield Ave. Patrol was on scene and took a photo of the camera. NYSDOT stated it is one of their cameras and there are a few more around the Village monitoring traffic.

Caller reported a female fell leaving a restaurant and is now driving away in a white vehicle. Caller thought she may be intoxicated. Patrol was dispatched and checked the area with negative results.
Suspicious Incident
2/19/2026 6:53pm · Morningside Drive
Caller reported a suspicious incident involving a male walking around his house at night with a plastic baggy in his hand. Party spent approximately five minutes walking around the house before he went back to his vehicle and left. Detectives shared the vehicle’s information through official channels and it was stopped by Irvington PD. The male party was at the residence attempting to return a lost wallet.
Animal Complaint

Caller reported an injured deer in the roadway. Patrol was dispatched and found the deer was dead on the sidewalk. DPW was notified and reported that Dyckman's Wildlife Service will pick up the deer in the morning.
Accident
2/21/2026 7:04pm · North Riverside Avenue
Caller reported his vehicle was struck outside 3rd Universe Comics. Patrol was dispatched. The driver of the vehicle struck a total of three parked vehicles. Driver was transported to Phelps Hospital. Report was filed.
