Resident in police headquarters to file a complaint about her neighbor’s dog not being muzzled when outside. Information was collected for a report. Patrol to file report and forward paperwork to the court.
911 Hang Up

911 hang up with no answer on a call back. There was no location or name given with number. GPS coordinates were checked and all was in order. Approximately 15 minutes later the listed number was called back and it appeared to be a child playing with the phone. Attempted to help but the line hung up.
Welfare Check

911 caller stated that one of the residents had escaped after being unruly in the group home. Caller stated he followed behind her as she walked by the group home bus. Patrols were dispatched. Patrols reported the workers were able to speak with the woman, get her into the transport vehicle and followed back to the group home. Patrols reported the resident was brought back to the group home for the evening without incident.

Civilian in HQ reported being a victim of a fraudulent scheme. All information was gathered for a report.
Suspicious Incident

Caller stated that there were people smoking and hanging out in the parking lot on the bottom of Brook Street. Caller further alleged that they were selling drugs. Patrol was dispatched to the area and reported only seeing a man and women in a vehicle eating. Nothing further at this time.
Obstruction in Roadway
2/27/2026 4:35pm · Route 9 North
Caller stated there was a ladder in the roadway on Route 9 North between the Croton Point Avenue exit and the Municipal Place exit. Patrol was dispatched and reported canvassing all of Route 9 North and not locating a ladder.
Welfare Check
2/28/2026 2:24pm · Old Post Road South
Caller from roadside assistance stated a tow request in the area. Caller further stated they were unable to get a tow but cannot get in touch with the caller. Roadside was advised that their caller lives in the area and was not stranded. Patrol was dispatched and confirmed the operator was not in distress, but just attempted to dig out her car from the snow to have it moved.
