Officers responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident in a shopping center parking lot. Information was exchanged between the drivers and no injuries were reported.

Police responded to a two-car property damage accident. No injuries were reported, and an accident report was completed.

Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 9 South. EMS evaluated the driver at the scene, the vehicle was towed, and officers provided a courtesy transport to the Croton- Harmon Train Station.
Flooding
July 28, 2026 – 9:23 PM · Albany Post Road
Police responded to a disabled vehicle caused by roadway flooding. Officers diverted traffic while the Department of Public Works cleared the drainage system and the roadway was safely reopened.
Motor Vehicle Accident

Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident after a vehicle spun out on Route 9 North. No injuries were reported, the vehicle was towed, and officers provided a courtesy transport to the train station.
Suspicious Incident

Police investigated a report of a possible firearm in a holster along an entrance ramp to Route 9 South. Officers thoroughly searched the area and determined the report to be unfounded.
Hazardous Condition
July 31, 2026 – 1:42 PM · Truesdale Drive
Officers responded after a large tree limb fell onto private property and posed a potential hazard to nearby power lines. Police coordinated with the Department of Public Works, Con Edison, and a tree removal company to address the situation safely.
Larceny Investigation
August 1, 2026 – 11:48 AM · Amber Drive
Police investigated a report of stolen outdoor furniture. The property was recovered by the owner without incident after officers responded and reviewed available surveillance footage.
